The Peachtree Gateway Partnership (PGP) Inc. was created to improve the coordination of local governments, state agencies and the private sector to support infrastructure and other improvements undertaken in North DeKalb.
The Peachtree Gateway Partnership (PGP) Inc. was legally incorporated by the Georgia Secretary of State on May 9th, 2016 as a Domestic Nonprofit Corporation. PGP Inc. The 2016/2017 initial Board includes:
The PGP shall be a leader in creating, promoting and sustaining a responsible pro-business environment in the geographic area surrounding DeKalb-Peachtree Airport and encompassing the cities of Brookhaven, Chamblee, Doraville and Dunwoody in order to foster economic development and to encourage and promote the progress and improvement of the civic, cultural and educational life of the region.
The PGP is managed through the Board of Directors and Executive Committee (Mayor Pittman, Mayor Clarkson, Jeff Petrea, Mario Evans and Jimmy Ellis). A Coordinating Committee of staff from local governments including the cities of Brookhaven, Chamblee, Doraville, Dunwoody and DeKalb County are invited to attend a regular meeting to discuss issues of mutual interest. Members of the PGP are asked to contribute an annual membership fee to cover costs associated with the organizations goals and work program.
